Having graduated from the Universities of Berkeley and Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne, he first practised with Boken Avocats, a firm specialised in criminal defence and business litigation. In 2020, he joined the Paris office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in the white-collar crime and litigation department.
Ralph Moughanie has distinguished himself in defence of political figures and executives in international corruption cases.
He regularly assists clients facing charges in proceedings opened jointly by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) and the French Parquet National Financier (PNF).
A member of the Berkeley Global Society and the Cercle France-Amériques boards, Ralph Moughanie teaches constitutional law at Sciences Po Paris, international section.
